KINROSS (Scrap Register): Product handling company Exporta has partnered with UK recycling company Plastic Expert to offer free recycling of its customers’ plastic pallets, plastic containers, boxes and crates.

Exporta said it is aware that being an environmentally friendly supplier is key to trading and that it is morally in line with its company values.

98% of all plastic pallets the company sells are made from recycled material. In addition, all of its plastic products are 100% recyclable and the company is now in offering a free collection and recycling scheme for end of life plastic products to all customers.

All of Exporta’s current and potential customers can benefit from this scheme. If a company is looking to replace old plastic pallets, boxes or crates for new ones Exporta said it is very happy to recycle the old ones. All plastic products sold to its customers can be recycled when they come to the end of their useable life – which can be up to 10 years depending on the use case.

Exporta said it decided to set up this scheme with Plastic Expert because the company was often contacted by customers or asked when talking to potential customers if it was able to recycle their old products.

“This is a great initiative that not only helps our customers in a great way but also contributes to reducing plastic waste. A recent survey of our Customers showed a 92% Satisfaction Score which we aim to improve further by introducing great services like this one,” said Dale Paterson managing director of Exporta.
